Drinking water according to the thirst degree is not sufficient. Though consumption of water before thirst works like a medicine. Whenever you are thirsty, you only drink that much quantity of water which is necessary to curb your thirst but that will not fulfill the requirements of the body. We drink water many times a day. Generally our perception is that when our throat becomes dry then we feel thirsty. Today I have brought for you such health drinks and smoothies which not only help to keep you well hydrated and cool for whole day although they are lip smacking too.

1. Coconut Milk With Poppy Extract
Coconut milk is a good hydrator. It keeps the body cool from inside and fills you with energy. Coconut milk has very low calorie content. It is very abundant in anti-oxidants, amino acids, enzymes, vitamins like vitamins C and minerals like calcium, potassium, magnesium, manganese and iron. The micro-nutrients present in it also boost the immune system. Coconut milk is loaded with moisturizing properties thus it also helps a lot in keeping the skin moist. It has moisturizing properties. 

Poppy root extract which is popularly known as khus syrup keeps your blood circulation under control. It is a rich source of iron, manganese and vitamin B6. While iron cleans the blood, manganese maintains the blood circulation of the body. Many nutrients and antioxidants present in poppy concoction not only provide hydration but also keep you away from many diseases.

•    Raw coconut - 1
•    Poppy extract (khus syrup) - 2 tbsp (choice may vary)
•    Water - 2 tbsp
•    Raisins - 1 tsp
How to prepare
•    Take raw coconut and peel it off by using a sharp peeler. 
•    Blend it in a blender to get a fine paste, also add water while grinding. 
•    Strain and squeeze out all the coconut milk with the help of muslin cloth. 
•    Pour the coconut milk in a long tumbler and add poppy extract to give it a flavor, sweetness and a tinge of color.
•    Garnish it with raisins. 

2. Melon Smoothie With Rose Syrup

•    Take musk melon, peel it and cut it into large cubes. 
•    Put it into blender and blend it to get a smooth puree. 
•    Pour the musk melon puree in a large glass and add rose syrup into it to add some flavouring and sweetness. 
•    Garnish it with rosemary and chopped nuts. 

3. Tangy Papaya Juice 
Papaya is rich in fiber and it is full of vitamin C. Although papaya is sweet, but it contain very less sugar. After consuming papaya, the body remains hydrated along with it also provide necessary nutrients to the body. Papaya smoothie does not cause dehydration and also keep constipation at bay. 

Lemon-water is a good source of vitamin C. With its help, vitamin C is reached in our body, which keeps our immune system healthy and keeps us healthy. •    Ripe Papaya - 500 gm
•    Lemon juice - 2 tsp (choice may vary) 
•    Honey - 2 tbsp
•    Black salt - 1 or 2 pinch
•    Basil leaves - 3 to 4
•    Papaya chunks - 1 tbsp
How to prepare 
•    Take papaya, peel it and cut it into big chunks. 
•    Now blend it to get a smooth puree. 
•    Strain the puree by using a muslin cloth to get a juice.
•    Now add lemon juice black salt and honey to the juice to add some extra flavouring to it. 
•    Garnish it with basil leaves and papaya chunks. 

4. Sugarcane Juice Flavored With Raw Mango

•    Take a raw mango, peel it deseed it, and boil it, till it turns to soft pulp
•    Puree this pulp in a blender and add it in a sugarcane juice. 
•    Now add black salt and mint leaves to add extra flavor to it.
